Journalist. I work as a science communicator at the Chair of Scientific Culture of the University of the Basque Country. Mostly social media dissemination and events organization, but I’m also involved in the writing and editing of content, in radio, and whatever else is needed.
María Larumbe Canalejo

Journalist. I am responsible for managing and disseminating the content of the Chair of Scientific Culture of the University of the Basque Country, primarily to the media, to bring scientific knowledge closer to society. Additionally, I coordinate its communication strategy and strengthen relationships with journalists to promote scientific outreach.

Journalist. I manage youth projects at the Chair of Scientific Culture of the University of the Basque Country and collaborate in the editing of the Zientzia Kaiera blog as well as evenst management, among other things.

Juan Ignacio Pérez Iglesias

Biologist. Professor of Physiology. Since its founding in 2010, I have been the director of the Chair of Scientific Culture of the University of the Basque Country. From 2022 to 2024, my activity has been focused on institutional representation and academic leadership. I have worked as a writer in the digital media of the Chair. Currently, Vice-Minister for Science, Universities and Innovation of the Basque Government.
